Dream Girl Ek Ladki Deewani Si is a story about a girl named Lakshmi (Nikita Dutta), who aspires to become a big star like Ayesha (Shraddha Arya). The show seems to have the story of every struggler who comes to Mumbai with a dream. But Lakshmi's dream to come to Mumbai also doesn't seem to come true. She prays, steals money and goes to the fortune teller as well with the hope to someday reach Mumbai - the city of dreams. The backdrop of the show is set in Rajasthan and we will see a very rustic approach to the show.
